KRE hopes interested members of the community can attend, particularly to register your initial ideas for potential funding, sponsorship and grants from a potential community benefit fund if the project is consented.

Your ideas will be used to form potential community benefit arrangements going forward. Please note that planning consent is not conditional on community benefit ideas, and Koehler Renewable Energy UK (KRE) wish to undertake this process earlier to ascertain community needs and demands.

Koehler Renewable Energy (KRE) is doing this in accordance with the Scottish Government’s “Good Practice Principles for Community Benefits from Onshore Renewable Energy Developments” documentation, which guides the design and delivery of effective community benefit packages.
