KRE UK plans to install up to nine turbines, with maximum heights of 200 m.
The site will also include access tracks, grid infrastructure, and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of up to 20 MW.
The site, located on the Hill of Foudland, lies approximately 6.4 km north of Insch and 8.5 km south-east of Huntly.
The Proposed Development will have an indicative electricity export output of approximately 64.8 MW from wind generation and a battery storage capacity of up to 20 MW.
The total project capacity will be approximately 84.8 MW. Because of its size, the application will be determined by Scottish Ministers with Aberdeenshire Council as a statutory consultee.
